UCCD presentation was very disappointing yesterday, really very disappointing.
But its over, and shit happens - deal with it

All I can say to the groups presenting next week is that,
SERIOUSLY, do the script and do dry runs.
You better make sure your teammates have finished their script and you have all seen what you all will be presenting.
Its only a 30 minute presentation & time passes by really fast.

So be prepared, really.

A New Beginning
Now when I turned 18, maturity seeps in. I look back and see how I have lived my life. I cannot deny that there has been many ups and downs, fun times and sad/angry times. But at the end of the day, I think and realised  many people come and go, but many friendships/relationships have faced the test and remained.

To get to where I am today, many sacrifices have been made. I'm not saying sacrifices are a bad thing. In fact, 18 years on this earth have taught me that to hold onto better things, many good things must go. I've seen how God worked in my life, giving and taking things away from me. Sadness is there of course, but good things still come my way. God plans things for us that prosper us instead of harming us. We, humans, are definitely unable to see what is absolute good and bad therefore, we are unable to decide what is right for us. We need a higher being, God.

I don't ask for complicated things. I'm happy with a simple life. This is another lesson learnt from growing up. A few good friends, fun memories is probably all I ask for. I just want a good life.

Ж-Men...but not the ones you might expect!
This week LJ Russia launched Ж-Men, a new comedy series about superheroes, inspired by the LJ communities dedicated to superheros, comics and cartoons. The title's "Ж" comes from ЖЖ, the nickname for LiveJournal in Russia.

Ж-Men's script is written by a group of LJ enthusiasts who also happen to be television professionals. Who knew? Following the premiere, five more episodes will be broadcast over the next two weeks. We hope you find the series fresh and enjoyable.

This is, of course, an experiment for LiveJournal. As always, we'd love to hear what you think!

Laundry day, see you there
Underthings, tumbling
Wanna say, love your hair
Here I go, mumbling ...

With my freeze ray
I will stop, the world.
With my freeze ray,
I will find the time to find the words to

Tell you how,
How you make,
Make me feel,
What's the phrase?

Like a fool,
Kinda sick,
Special needs
Anyways,

With my freeze ray I will stop, the pain
It's not a death-ray
Or an ice-beam that's so Johnny Snow
I just think you need time to know

That I'm the guy to make it real
The feelings you don't dare to feel
I'll bend the world to our will
And we'll make time stand still

That's the plan,
Rule the world
You and me
Anyday

Love your hair...

Joss Whedon is a genius.

Click, and watch! You must, you must, you must! The singing's good (:

Oh, and of course his arch-nemesis Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion!) whom he does battle with.

And it's just so cute and nice and the music is nice soo. Go watch please!

The Wind
Sometimes, when the wind blows so hard, I'll close my eyes, and pretend that it's not really moving at all. I'll pretend that I'm the one who's moving through it, and not the wind that's moving through me. I'll pretend that I'm falling with the wind rushing past my face. I'll pretend that I'm floating to the ground in a rush and that there's nothing holding me back. I'll pretend that I'm free.

down here
hi everyone. i know i haven't posted in ten billion years so i thought i'd just come and assure you that i haven't died or anything and that i'm still alive and that i've just been to lazy to post. that, and i've been playing maple. so now you know. hoorah!

so i've been happy and content and more than not unhappy.

i've been enjoying the whole five-day weekend to the point that i sometimes forget that i've got school. it's a wonderful feeling really, and school becomes something of a pleasant reminder of the life you're enjoying; sometihing to remind you how dreary life was before.

and i'm going to mersing this weekend. had my diving theory and pool sessions last saturday and sunday. i am so excited. :D

so that's me. hahah.

So brown eyes I'll hold you near, (10)
I sumpa formatting is not easy, IT REALLY ISN'T.

DIGRESS
My MSN was really screwed up so I spoke to Tessa on FB chat but cos I was watching Ugly Betty, the music was on. And I sorta forgot how FBC makes the weird sucker sound when people talk to you. So I was watching my show then suddenly

TOKTOKTOK

WOAHH. What was that?! HAHAHAHA so it was fun toktokTOKing to Tessa.

I think its cos I'm really super anal about my line spacings, the font face, 1.5 or 10 pt spacing, page break here, .1 .2 .3 and all the shenanigans you get whilst formatting a report.

As of now, the report has chalked up 17 pages, including cover / content / appendix / biblography / references. Don't the last 3 just actually belong to ONE, SINGLE CATERGORY named,
OTHER NON IMPORTANT THINGS BUT IT'S TO BE IN HERE JUST IN CASE I GET SUED FOR LIFTING BUT I'VE GIVEN PROOF OF CITATION

OKAY WHATEVER. WHATEVER. It's past 4, half my onion ciabatta is gone, 4 M&S DC digestives are fattening up my thighs & the bed is calling me by my Chinese name. And also cos my tailbone really hurts from sitting in a wood chair from 5-4. WOAHHHH. So come tomorrow, I shall be done with my appendix / referencing / biblographing and off it goes to Lola to check whether it sounds politically and mark worthy correct. And also so that she and my other two group mates may insert their missing things.

SAVE THE TREES, SAVE THE WORLD!
Hence, we have decided we are going to print the project of 17 pages (not inclusive of Lola + HJ + WT MAGNIFICANTE A/R/B stuff)

*dromrull please

DOUBLE SIDED!

(I mean, seriously. The over worked project sits in one corner after being marked so that it can serve its purpose, minimally, as a anti-plagurism tool)

So goodnight world, see you tomorrow at 1p after a well deserved sleep :)

OH WAIT.

I've been listening to this song which I'd like to share with everyone. It's by Band of Horses. No, you have not read it wrongly. Band of Horses is not to be mistaken with WOARWOARWOAR HXC Horse the Band. I was watching Chuck and they played it when Bryce Larkin walked out after saying,
"We'll always have our Omarha" or however you spell it.

It's called No One's Gonna Love You.

Eww, I smell like Hospigel.

Well, God's really around, that I can say.
Thanks to all the friends and things that have been happening. I'm not a big fan of buying into big ass coincidences and believing that maybe God's saying sth through this, but really, throughout the past few days its quite hard to believe that all of this isn't happening for a reason. thanks all of you that have been looking out for me, i really really really appreciate it. i know im quite a prick sometimes, well all of the time.

And how could you do it?
Cause I never saw it coming.
I need the ending,
so why can't you stay just long enough to explain?

This is rare! My first lazy saturday afternoon at home in months! How I wish I were still sitting for PSLE or O levels (yea & in sec 4 I was probably thinking of PSLE hurrr). Because this time, it's THE As. BT2's such a washout I can't believe I even bothered taking the papers. What the Sheeeeet. My life's seriously depressing because I can't get things done/right. Well. Blame it on google for making me stupid.

Anyhow, our (after 2 years) B div picture. We still look da same.
